This painted power box can very clearly be seen on StreetView photos from 2022 all the way to October 2024. It is also clearly located on the public sidewalk. I see no reason why this painted power box should have been removed, so I’d like it put back.

Thanks for the appeal, @GeneralSecura. We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot.

On what grounds?

Seems like a nondescript pattern on a box to help match into the background which would imply insignificance and not a place to:

  • Exercise
  • Explore
  • Be social
