Same here. Since the hughe drop after the last challenge, I’m not even doing five a WEEK anymore. Besides there is absolutely no reward for it, so why should I ? I only get rubbish.
I may start doing more (and start nominating again) when I understand EXACTLY how the system works, and how to make sure my ratings don’t drop and my good nominations get approved. But I’m afraid that is not gonna happen.

Maybe Scaniverse will have a challenge… but thats independent of Wayfarer and what wayfraer does… or doesnt do

Getting back to Wayfarer challenges…
I think there are many reviewers that feel this way, too. I myself haven’t been doing as many as I used to, mainly due to there being so many rejections these days. I get very few edits to do, so kind of a bummer for me.
And yes, Niantic could be thinking of new challenges for Wayfarer, but with ML and what we have to vote on these days, the rewards would have to be really good. Upgrades might not cut it anymore.

You realise that even though a park with no sign does meet critiera, and the clarification says it can be accepted anyway, that the appeals team dont really mind what the criteria says and neither do reviewers, so you stop bothering to submit it and give up for a while before you get too cross 
Either way upgrades dont seem to factor, so arent going to be the best reward. Personally Id like Pokemon Go to have another badge past platinum (for all categories, not just wayfarer), and then simply gathering agreements would be an incentive.

Yeah a few of those too, not as many as others though despite submitting similar things
Usually just information boards here. Emily doesnt like swimming pools or almost all trail markers or bench plaques but for other players thry say ML accepts those kinds of things regularly with almost identical types of submissions ie similar image framing, similar style of title and description etc
Oh and I know bench plaques are not super great but for some people the ML loves them but not for me
Done, I should have kept a spreadsheet or something though. What’s the next challenge?
