History: This Mile Markers in the UK are classed as Historic. They are Grade II listed meaning they are legally protected.(https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1314651?section=official-list-entry). The 1 in question is believed to be from 1850 to 1900.
They are sunk in to the ground, the wall behind it will be SFPRP but no connection is made between the 2 so as to make sure no damage is caused to the mile marker. There is a small gap (possible 1 to 2 cm) which will get some debris caught but it will eventually be cleaned out by the council.
So the question is how close to the wall constitutes “on the boundary”.
TIA
I would approve that without even blinking. (UK based.)
By which I mean it’s an insta-accept, assuming there isn’t anything wrong with the submission. (If it just said “Mile Marker” for example.) The fact it’s against a property wall does not cause a problem.
(I’ve had a boundary marker approved which is embedded into a wall against a pavement. It protrudes about 3 inches.)

I was thinking of a Title: “Dirty White Object next to Dog Mural bin”
Should be accepted with that?
It’s 1 I had spotted and thought “Thats got to be already done”, surprised when I checked and it wasn’t then thought "SFPRP
) so moved on.
I only tend to drive past it so will make a walking visit when I get the chance.
Thanks
This is on public land the wall is the boundary. I’d be happy enough with it . I would try and take the supplementary to show it’s not attached it should be visible on street view so the location shouldn’t be an issue.

The image above is a screen grab from Street View so Yes, location confirmation isn’t a problem.
Getting down so you can see the gap might be, my legs don’t bend like they used to
Thanks for continued advise.
I wouldn’t worry about private property, its clearly not part of the wall. I don’t see this having any trouble being approved in the UK.

Now I have zoomed in the photo, it reminds me of something. Are you the person I said I would do a photosphere of a postbox for? If so, can you remind me of the location to save me from hunting through the threads, since I failed to make a note (but did make a memory!)
Thanks - proper note taken now

This reminds me of one of my submissions that got rejected for “being on private property”.
A trail marker that’s placed between a fuse box and the wall of someone’s garden. It’s not
in the garden but right next to it. I’d say this is fine, but the reviewers disagreed.

When I visited today there is approx 8 inch gap, I did take an image so should have evidence for an appeal.

Thanks for all the advice but got Rejection today as Duplicate.
I had used the “unofficial” map updated by Me and had the cell empty, checked Intel Map and it is there
Either I missed it when updating the map or it appeared in a short length of time between me updating the map and the Intel Map split.
Can’t even kick off stating that the Reviewers don’t know what they are doing…
Well at least it now has another picture.
