Hi! Should the below bicycle and walking sign be rejected due to wayfarer criteria, or is it a valid and safe place where a stop can be added?
Is this something that you are reviewing, or something that you had rejected for “Wayfarer criteria”? We would need to see the full nomination to advise you on it.
With just that one picture, I’d guess that maybe it’s a mass produced generic sign (maybe there are hundreds of them), marking a sidewalk (that’s just infrastructure), built to get people between one place and another.
But maybe the description / supporting give information to show that it’s a named trail built for exercise and exploring?
We really don’t have enough information, but those are two possibilities.

This is a common sign in Europe that just says who is allowed to walk / ride here, or if it is a shared pedestrian and cycling area. This is a normal, generic street sign and under no scenario eligible

Ah yea, it is a common sign, I was just confused because I see this is a rejected one, but I saw the exact same one as a poke stop a few km away.
If that’s the case, the one live in the game has been incorrectly or even abusively been accepted

Having had to review these I can say that they are sold as trail markers with a bunch of other words to make it meaningful. Very easy to get past EmiLy and poor reviewers.
Common as you say in many many countries from Australia to Europe.
