How can I improve this welcome sign submission?

I’m trying to submit a welcome sign but it got rejected twice, the rejection being motivated with “wayfarer criteria”, so I assume it reads as a generic sign. The reason I don’t think it’s generic is that the sign sports the town’s official banner, which is a hand clad in a black shirt with red cuffs holding 7 ears of wheat, and also the logo of the association Borghi Autentici d’Italia, which is a network set up so smaller towns can pool together resources and personnel. I made this clear in the additional info section, but it wasn’t enough. Can I improve on this nomination or should I move on?

That doesn’t look like it has pedestrian access to me. What do y’all think?

Looks like the sign is geared toward vehicular traffic :+1:t2:

Yep, the 50 sign is a speed sign, and the other is for no honking horns. It’s more for motor vehicles than pedestrians.

There’s a sidewalk leading right to it, you can even see the pedestrian crossing in the supporting picture

The bottom ones, sure, but there’s hiking trails passing through the city, the road is regularly travelled on foot, on bikes and even on horseback

This looks like a rejection by the machine learning program - nickname Emily.
If you look in the rejection email it will probably say decided by our team.

This is because these sorts of signs don’t meet any of the key criteria: it’s not a great place to be social, explore or exercise.
Not everything that has the towns symbols will be places that meet criteria.
So my advice would be you tried hard but to let this one go.
