Should we approve standard, typical gazebos? Like the ones that are installed by the hundreds in some cities by municipal authorities. Without any uniqueness, painting, not historical.
You would know your area better than me, but this looks to me like a good place to socialise together outside and it would not be that common to me - my community has nothing like this. So I would be inclined to vote positively on it.
Being generic or indistinct to me means its unlikely Id be able to spot it if I was in the area, for example a piece of pavement, a patch of grass, or a street light. However I would be able to spot this seating area, and even if it is a common installation across a town, its unlikely to be so common that there are several on every street, so I think your concerns about it being standard are not too serious
wow this place looks awesome which ciuntry is this from? curious curious
In my area these are not typical at all. According to the criteria it passes several of the questions.
These are great places to be social, especially since they also have picnic tables. I certainly would ask someone to meet up with me at a place like this for some socialization, even if it isn’t a picnic. These also appear to be permanent.
Pavilions, gazebos, and pergolas can be great places to be social; the added bonus of picnic tables here further make them great places to be social. Sure, a park may have more than one of these that are the same, but if they are in different areas, they may be eligible on their own. Some may not have official names, but some submitters may use numbers or directions to make them distinct in their titles.
There are 2 rest areas along an Interstate that I drive on often, and I stop at them from time to time. There are 4 picnic pavilions at each, 2 on the north side and 2 on the south. I’ve had all accepted, even though they are the same, but they are in different locations at this rest area. Here’s how I titled these 2 on the north side of the southbond rest area, just for an example:
