Show me your favorite murals!

Happy Sunday everybody!

Inspired by the other wholesome weekend thread I would like to humbly request some screenshots of your favorite murals that you have submitted as wayspots. Murals are my favorite to submit and see on the map! :artist_palette::sparkles:

I’ll start with some of my favorites

This mural in Edinburgh was painted by renowned graffiti artist Conzo

This mural was commissioned by Greenpeace and painted by local artists Mako and El Niño to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 2020

This is an entire alley of murals that celebrate Cabo Verdean heritage. The island of Sal is filled with stunning murals created by local artists

My most recent mural wayspot! Created by Hamburg-based artist Lapiz in 2024, this mural is a critical response to a BMW ad

Looking forward to seeing your guy’s’ murals!

Flow by Thomas Turner at a local nature center - didn’t make it to be a pokestop, which is too bad.

This one is not as pretty, but it’s at a thrift store which isn’t eligible on its own.

Wow that is simply stunning!

The Wayspot that was my gateway into Wayfarer:

Dali! Walking into the tattoo shop to get a pic after seeing him through the window was a test of confidence.

My first remote submission via web! I took the photo on a whim; the restaurant is 9.8km from my home.

All of these are amazing! My favorite is the flower one

Since I’ve come all this way, I’d like to participate.
These are cool pieces, cute pieces, and works of geometric abstraction.

The Back to the Future one is my favorite, it’s weird you had to appeal that!

Eh, you know how it is. If it’s indoors, it’ll get hit with “private residential property” at least once or twice.
