Will the Wayfarer Challenge toggle thingy apply for this challenge?

I’ve expressed on other threads that I dislike these Challenges that are single-game focused.
If there was one that was Ingress-only, I’d think the same.
I had hoped we would have moved past the single-game focused Challenges after the Brazil one but I guess it’s going to become the norm.
Not even an announcement from staff? I think I will pass.
I have been L8 Ingress for a short while. I agree that the challenge should be for all games that could benefit from the new Wayspots. I don’t know the real reasons behind the decision, but I hope someone can consider making the challenge available for Ingress as well.
As this is a Pokemon Go initiative, I wonder if the Wayfarer Team would have known in advance?
That is my point. If this isn’t even a Wayfarer effort, I don’t feel any inclination to help. Wayfarer is my community.
I am in both camps. I am invested in both. But am not doing this challenge for a few reasons.
It looks like this event is intended for locals anyway reading through it.
And you can change your home or bonus locations as well.
That was how I read it, so like the other recent one they dont appear to want anyone from another area to help
I thought best to use the official title of the post.
But yeah, the rewards aren’t amazing at all.
So, this challenge doesn’t count for the ingress OPR Live, right? 
I like to help to aprove good proposals in the games but I also like these challenges when they count for both games because I play them 
Maybe the title should be edited to show this is a local pogo event 
Before people get too excited.

Seems similar to the Archive > Brazil Challenge, but why no announcement here? Do they not want to confuse those not in those locations or with bonus locations there? A little odd, I’d say.
I’d like to see an incubator as an individual reward.
And what’s the reward for Ingres, I’ll wait for the Wayfarer team to announce it.
