To make location edits of over 10 metres, you need to login to your wayfarer account on the wayfarer website and go to the help page. There you’ll find an orange speech bubble icon in the corner, which will open up a support chat where you’ll be able to select the location edits option.

Your comment about Google maps is confusing.

Are you submitting through one of the games, Pokemon Go or Ingress?

If not, there is no way for Niantic to know you want a wayspot or are adding a photo to an existing wayspot.
