When my submissions are rejected multiple times, I appeal. I have appealed 7x and 6 of the 7 were approved within 24 hours. Note: you can only appeal 2 nominations at a time or rather, have 2 open appeals at a time.
Actually neither, you have 2 appeals that each replenish 20 days after use, regardless of it being open or resolved. (they typically resolve in a few days)
Focal point is the key term. If no sign, then at least some type of structure (post, railing, gate, etc) that announces “I am here”.
