I asked to move these three spots to their correct position and they seem to have been removed altogether? I don’t understand what removal criteria they would meet.
This is the photo I had provided of the info signs. The only explanation I have is that they thought there wasn’t safe pedestrian access but they’re literally info signs meant to be read by pedestrians? Street view is probably confusing since it’s showing construction but this street is meant for pedestrians and bicycles only, vehicles are only allowed to pass if they have business at the weir. The gate to the left is quite obviously meant for humans, I don’t think a car could fit through there. And the general spot for the historical weir was removed? Really? The ENTIRE area doesn’t have safe pedestrian access? I genuinely don’t understand.
Hi @NianticLC@NianticAaron I never got a reply when I asked why these were removed. I would like to know in case community members would try to resubmit them
Hi sorry but that doesn’t make any sense. It’s a historic weir that offers tours and has a history section?
The signs are in a bicycle and pedestrian-only area but I guess if you say bicycles make it unsafe that’s fine.
But the weir wayspot, especially with the location change I proposed, is perfectly safe to access.
Let me repeat that the only street view that makes it look unsafe is from when they had construction work done, which was a couple of years ago. Having been a construction site at some point shouldn’t mean something is excluded from being able to have wayspots in the present. Because every building in existence was built at some point.
Maybe not the solution that you are looking for, but in the two empty cells, you (or someone else) could probably nominate the pedestrian bridge, and the Neckarwerk Tübbinge, and agree the location was safe.
There were three different wayspots, one for the building and two for different info signs. All three were removed, I’m trying to get at least the one for the building reinstated. Staff seems to believe the entire building is unsafe or they wouldn’t have removed the general wayspot for the building
