Hello, I posted a bit ago about bike trail markers and was told the ones I was submitting were too generic - sooo I went out and submitted ones I could find that were unique with direction/miles/time in hopes that met the criteria mentioned in the trails & markers criteria clarification.
I actually posted this on the subreddit as well but the general consensus was that this submission is NOT distinct. I, again, beg to differ that this meets the criteria that is outlined in the screenshot below from the criteria clarification. Hoping for a more definitive answer on these from an ambassador.
Hi! Not very familiar with this type of marker in this part of the world, but just to set expectations right, I would suggest not asking for “a definitive answer from an ambassador” - we are just community members who also have opinions and preferences and we are very happy to support and help brainstorm the eligibility of something, but opinions provided are not final instance criteria judgments, nor should they For the latest feedback on the subject from Niantic, I would indeed look at the Criteria Clarification Collection , which you have already found.
I will also add that the private property rejection you got is likely not directly related to the type of marker, and probably has more to do with the strip of grass outside of the property being part of the property in many areas throughout the world.
