If accepted Wayspots that had gone live as game locations then disappeared, most of the time it is because someone reported them for removal. If you believe these removals were in error, you can request they be reinstated in Wayspot Appeals
You will need to present evidence that the point of interest for the Wayspot is not ineligible.
The wayspots were totally legit
In different areas of the country, 1600 km away from each other
Both denied the first time, both approved after appeal

No, that is not fair in any circumstance
Something is going on with these Wayspots. Niantic does not remove accepted Wayspots just for fun. Either Niantic got a report that these were ineligible, or a property owner asked that they be removed. Or some other scenario that I can’t come up with.
I can’t tell you what happened. But since you are having trouble getting things accepted, I had hoped that we could help you by clearing up any criteria issues.
Appeals reviewers sometimes make mistakes, just like the rest of us.
Are you sure they actually went live in your game?
Just because a Wayspot is accepted, does not mean it will meet the inclusion rules for your game. Your acceptance email says “Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games.”
For Ingress, a new wayspot will not go live if it’s within 20m of an existing wayspot.
For PokemonGO, a new wayspot will not go live if it’s in the same cell as an existing wayspot.
Other games (Monster Hunter Now, Pikmin Bloom, etc) sync so seldom (yearly maybe?), it’s probably too soon for them to appear.

If you never saw the two accepted ones go live in any game, it was probably this issue. If you give us the gps coordinates of your accepted Wayspots then someone can check and see if this is the issue.
With “disappeared” I thought they had appeared and then been removed.
I’m taking a break from nominating for a while.
Many of these nominations of mine would have been accepted if they were reviewed several months ago(i know this because i had similar ones that got accepted previously)….not every country, village or town has perfectly unique sights and landmarks every few hundred metres…many things can still be pokestops that they reject even if they are within the same area…each object/monument is unique as a waystop in its own right…

They already have us expanding the game for them…and we don’t even get a reward for a successful nomination like coins, incubator, lure…nothing…

I had one accepted that works for Ingress which I don’t play, but at least I know someone benefits from it
I’ve had spots I got denied and later end up with other people getting the nominations with terrible grammar and misspelled words so I think there throwing darts
