Hello everyone, I have been updating the old pictures of my towns PokéStop, and at first it worked just fine. It got approved, and then after 48hrs they’ll show up with the new updated picture. But not anymore, I get accepted and approved a lot of new pictures for PokéStop but they don’t actually change no more and I wonder why, can anyone help me out on that?
Also, I have created and submitted and gotten approved 2 New POIs but none of the have shown up on Pokémon Go. And all of this have been approved since a while ago, I’m talking about three months ago… The new POI’s and the new updated pictures for PokéStop. What can I do? Thank you so much in advance.

In addition to adding the new photo, you need to get thumbs on it as well. The one with the most thumbs will be the disc photo.

Just to add extra that there is an issue where old photos have “hidden votes” from the days when Ingress also counted so even if you get more votes than shown you may need to get more 
If you are in touch with people on your friends list send the locations as gifts and ask them to vote on the postcard.
This is the most common reason…
If you want to post more details we can check in to it for you. Title and Location (Long / Lat) is easiest.

Thank you for the welcoming and I appreciate your help! I live in a really little town and I’m almost 100% sure that the old picture doesn’t have not even 2 likes while mine have 5, but I’ll try to upload a new one to see if there’s a bug or something. All the new pictures that I upload don’t even need a like to be upgraded, that particular one is giving me problems. But I’ll try to do my best with what you guys told me to do! As @SlimboyFat71 told you above, it’s almost certainly due to other, hidden likes that are added to the existing 2, but not visible. There is no bug in the sense that this is how it works, and adding other photos isn’t going to change anything since they are also going to be at a disadvantage compared to the current main one.
Other wayspots may not have this problem, so the experience with other ones isn’t necessarily going to translate.
If you need us to estimate (it is still going to be a bit of a guess) how many hidden likes there are, feel free to drop the coordinates for the wayspot.
