“Enzo Ferrari House” and “Modena - MEF” are both in the database, so your nomination would likely be considered a duplicate of one of them.
I don’t see it marked as a duplicate, and there is no poi of this. Also, any other museum has more than 1 poi
I was really confused when I looked this location up. The gate seems to be half a block away from where the pin looks to be from the screenshot, close to this portal, which appears to be in the road: Pannello Informativo Museo Enzo Ferrari
So I wasn’t sure if the entrance gate is part of that Wayspot or separate from it, and wasn’t sure of the pin placement. So could not recommend appealing, or that it should not be appealed either, for that matter.
Be aware that you get 2 appeals, each on a 20 day counter before you can use them again if you do decide to appeal. I must say that “Low quality or inaccurate description” confused me as well.
Yes, museums can have multiple POIs, but the entrance isn’t typically a separate nomination from the actual museum, it’s usually a proxy for the museum (just like a sign may be used), and as the museum is already two wayspots (one per building), it probably should’ve been marked as a duplicate instead of what it was actually rejected for.
As stated, “Modena - MEF” and “Enzo Ferrari House” are the two main buildings for the museum. They are both valid in their own right, but the entrance is just a proxy for either or both of them as there’s not really anything special about the entrance itself.
I bet there’s a ton of interesting stuff in both buildings that could be nominated. Whilst I’m a McLaren fan, I can appreciate that Ferrari has a lot of history and I’d gladly explore the museum if I had the chance.
