Viewing platforms with no bench and no signs

I have a question about viewing platforms. Here in Germany, we have one at Mark 51°7, and it is also listed on Maps. You can even recognize it on the satellite view. The problem is that there is neither a sign nor a bench.

Mark 51°7 is an urban development project located on the site of the former Bochum Werk I. This viewing platform is intended to allow people to overlook the entire area.

So it would fall under the category of “a great place for exploration,” or am I completely wrong about that?

What would be the best way to submit something like this? For example, I took a photo of the dead end and, as a supporting photo, the path going down as well as the actual view. Which of these photos would be best to use?

Personally i think its good place and worth trying.

i think the same, should i take the photo with the dead end and as a second photo the way down?

Since I generally believe that reviewers make their mind up within a second of seeing the submission, so basically the title and the photo, I think a location like this will have difficult being accepted.

It’s eligible if it is what you say it is, but it’s difficult to make it look like anything.

The utterly boring thoughtless horrendous landscape in which it has been set does not help. So much lost opportunity.

thank you for your opinion. so i assume i will need an appeal for this. thats fine for me, its just important for me that i dont nominate anything thats against the rules

It’s definitely not against the rules

Make sure the nomination has evidence in the supporting text that it is an official viewing platform, as this will help on appeal if it gets rejected.

What is meant to be viewed?
With all the work going on is it just temporary so people can watch the construction?

Struggling to work out what the view is meant to be :frowning:

I hope that once the construction has finished, there is something worth viewing. That would seem to be the intention

its part of the park that you can see on the last picture and it is not temporary. its build to have a view over the park and the area of Mark 51°7

They can be a bit hit or miss but this one had no bench or sign and was accepted by Niantic (not local reviewers) so they must have thought it was fine

Not relevant to the discussion but the supporting image for this nomination is my fav

This is what you need to convey in your photos, Title and description.

I did not see it in your photos here so you may have to “push the positives”.

Good luck.

Nice it got accepted in the first try
