I have submitted a wayspot move request (the wayspot was around 15-20m where it should actually be) and the chat bot told me they’d get back to me within a few hours. It has been around 48 hours and the chat seems to have cleared. Should I keep waiting or send another request?
The ticket # is 42992788. Thank you so much for any help.
Welcome to the forum @twirlyheap
What you’re describing is a common occurrence that’s usually caused by your browser settings. I’m not entirely sure which settings need changing to prevent it, as I’m not the most tech savvy person, but I’m sure others will reply to help with that.
Whilst the ticket is gone from your side, and you won’t get to see the reply to it as a result of this, it will still be there for the wayfarer team, and if the action you requested was required, then they will likely have done this by now and you should see any changes reflected within the next 48 hours or so.
One of the staff here may also be able to pop along and let you know what the outcome of your ticket was.
If you find that you lose help chat history, modifications can also be made through this form.
It is not as intuitive to use, but it does start an email chain, unlike help chat.
I’ve been waiting for a location edit to be looked at since 6:46pm on Saturday - over 3 days ago now. I still have the chat open. I guess from reading this and another post Location Edit Through Chat Support Help - #6 by ChampGST that the current chat responses are slower than I have experienced in the past - “a few hours” was pretty accurate - and I should just sit tight rather than trying to escalate it?
I received a response today at 12:39pm, so to give others a realistic expectation, that’s about 90 hours. They moved the wayspot, so all good.
I have had 1 in Help Chat for 5 days without reply.
Simple Wayspot in field of play, suggested new location stays in the same cell so should be an easy 1.
Since I reported it 2 more have appeared close by (1 I would class as Duplicate as 2 tennis courts in the same enclosure) again both in the middle of the field of play. ![]()
Just got a reply, they have actually moved it in to a different cell which now means that the 1 I deem as a duplicate could now be a stop.
I have reported both in the same report, at least if I get an answer it should be 2 in 1 ![]()
