I got this email about my Wayspot Nomination that confirmed it is accepted and will be in Pokemon Go, but it has not appeared yet. Any thoughts?

The nomination in question is in the same cell as city center Gate 3 which likely appears in Pokémon GO and thus yours. So while your nomination is eligible, and was accepted, it will not appear in Pokémon GO.
When you nominate things in Pokémon GO, while the text says you are nominating a Pokéstop you are actually nominating Wayspots. Those Wayspots are added to the Lightship map and then the other Niantic titles pull their Points of Interest from that map based on their own inclusion rules.

I know this isn’t the answer you were hoping for, but your nomination has been added to the Lightship map, and if you’re lucky may appear as a Power Spot one day.
