I got this email about my Wayspot Nomination that confirmed it is accepted and will be in Pokemon Go, but it has not appeared yet. What can i do

The answer will probably be similar to what happened with your other accepted nomination and others can check for you. But I’d like to add a bit of background that may help in general. Niantic has a couple of games that can nominate things. If the things are accepted they go to a map database that holds all the accepted nominations. Then each game pulls items from the map to their game based on unique rules. Ingress uses distance between objects and Pokemon Go uses density in an area.
So while you did get an email about the acceptance it only guarantees that it goes into the map database. So there really isn’t anything you can do.
I’d like Niantic to make this more clear when you nominate in game, but they prefer to keep it very immersive to the game and don’t go into these details.

this lands inside the same L17 S2 cell as another wayspot, so cannot become a pokestop or gym, and this one is also inside the 20m circle, so cannot become a portal in ingress either.
Just to call this out, that’s not what the acceptance email says. It says;
Remember that not all accepted nominations will appear in all Niantic games (and may take up to 48 hours to appear)
