Multiple Disc Golf Markers have recently been approved as wayspots for the same disc golf course. There is already an existing wayspot (Chichester Park Disc Golf Course) that represents the whole course.

I believe that the seven additional wayspots (detailed above) should be removed as they reflect individual sections of the course AND there is already an existing wayspot that represents the whole course.

But I have found that when I report them, they keep the Wayspot but remove the game location. This makes no sense to me. I wonder if this is the case with yours.

Hi, @CharKroeung! We have reviewed the report and have taken action on the Wayspots in accordance with our policies.

This is the exact wording they gave me when they removed the game locations but kept the Wayspots.

These wayspots have now all been removed and no longer appear “in game”.

They do not appear as being “Not in Game” on the new Niantic Wayfarer Map, however, they do appear marked as “Wayspot used in other Niantic Games” when you open up the in game nomination screen. I assume that this is to prevent new nominations being submitted for these invalid wayspots.
