Wayspot description edit appeal @ Minecraft office

  • Wayspot Title: Mojang Playground
  • Location (lat/lon): 59.320843094854496, 18.050069024748563
  • City: Stockholm
  • Country: Sweden
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email *:
  • Additional Information (if any):
  • Hello! I work at Mojang Studios, we make the game Minecraft. I offer the matching account name + Twitter account as proof in this post. Many of us are PoGo fans!
  • This waypoint indicates that this playground for the private school in the building belongs to Mojang Studios, creators of Minecraft, also in the same building. In fact, Mojang staff and others in the building have been asked to not go here at all, so the waypoint clearly shouldn’t indicate in the title or description anything other than it being a school playground. Whomever set this up was likely an excited fan.
  • We don’t need the spot removed, just not associated with the office. BUT if people are visiting the spot and wanting to check into the home of Minecraft, I would also consider submitting the office’s entrance sign as a waypoint, I just figured it would be denied because it was too close to the playground and the Tower of Mormor nearby.
  • I’d like to figure out what’s best here either way. Thank you!

Hey there,

Rejected Wayspot Edit’s can be appealed on the Wayfarer Website itself, under the contributions tab. That would be the first step before it can be escalated here usually

Okay, I can try that then. I had just clicked the link from the rejection email to get here.

Hi @McMarcFace
I wanted short let you know that my son is a mega fan of minecraft :hugs:
I told him that here wrote someone from sweden from Mojang Studios and he screamed spontaniously “that’s Minecraft!!!”.
Kind greetings from Germany

If it’s a playground on private school grounds, it should probably be removed since that’s against Wayfarer criteria.
