What is the best way to get a wayspot moved a “long” distance?

I have found a wayspot that needs to move about 225 meters. It would move from roughly the bottom point in the picture to the top point of the picture.

I can’t move it in the app as the map keeps resetting. Some light digging indicates moving more than about a meter was disabled a few years ago. Moving it 1 meter at a time would take almost a year.

Should I just nominate the new spot and suggest the old be deleted? Or is there a way to request this change through the forum. I have a geo-located photo for the new spot and screen shots of the old spot (from PoGo).

What is the wayspot? Is it the long jump? That does look like it belongs at the top, but have you verified that there is not a long jump at the bottom field? You can’t tell from satellite.

The long jump may need moving too. I can check on that today or tomorrow.

Judging by the satellite image, it probably does though.

long distance moves that can’t be done in game can be done through help chat on the wayfarer site: Niantic Wayfarer

a text bubble will pop up and a bot will ask for information then a person will get back to you there with an answer after evaluating the request.

(not weighing in on the specifics of this move, just answering the general question)
