Additional Information (if any): I don’t even know why this wayspot got accepted in the first place, I mean, it is a private residence. Yes, it’s a pretty building, but come on.
And there’s a couple more like these not even 500 meters away! My appeals for those also got rejected for some reason! When should a pretty HOME be a wayspot? Who says when a home is pretty enough to be a wayspot? Should I submit a wayspot of my home? Maybe that way I can get items 24/7!
Thanks again for your time.
This is a building with several apartments though. Be aware that only wayspots on single-family private residential property meet removal criteria.
Also remember that “notable architecture” can very much be eligible, even if it has apartments inside.
Hmmm I see, it makes sense, but I don’t know, its architecture isn’t THAT notable as that apartment building is located in the city center where every single apartment building is like 200 years old with remarkable architecture.
So yeah, I understand that it could be considered a wayspot, but in the context of a centuries old city center… meh, there’s also a Church wayspot right in front of that wayspot that’s not showing up in the game as a pokéstop, like literally 10 meters away. I don’t know if liberating that wayspot space from the apartment building would make the church’s wayspot appear, but I’m saying it just in case.
Level of architectural notability is very different from single-family private residential property (which is straight up removal criteria) though, that’s primarily what I wanted to clarify here.
I’m also not particularly fond of every single decorative feature on older buildings in European city centers having to be a wayspot, but again here we don’t know when this was approved, what information and background the submitter provided, whether they submitted it for its architectural value or under some other criterion (I was just making a hypothesis here) and I don’t have the context for what the actual level of notability is. As a non-local, this seems neither particularly bad nor abusive, and just finding an otherwise valid wayspot “meh” is not grounds for removal.
I know that’s not necessarily what you are saying but I would avoid suggesting that you are asking for this removal to make something else appear in Pokémon GO. The level of notability of the wayspot is not an argument for what appears in Pokémon GO, and in any case both wayspots are accounted for in the Lightship database, which is the thing the Wayfarer team and forum deal with. The church is likely to appear in other Niantic games so it is not being particularly discriminated against.

Thanks for the appeal, @MilloChan. We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
