Photo Cover of these wayspot:

First, these three wayspots are scattered around the Taipei Zoo’s Giant Panda House, based on year, similarity, and distance, suggesting they were exhibits from the same period.

Second, the photo of the “化石展覽品(Fossil Exhibit)” wayspot also shows signs for the panda house nearby, reasonably indicating it was inside the enclosure.

However, based on my experiences visiting the zoo these years and using Google Street View, I have never found these three wayspots inside the Panda House. Below are photos I took on the second floor of the Panda House. (Many photos of the first floor are available on Google Street View, so I won’t attach them here.)

You can see that this photo is very similar in structure to one of the wayspots, the “長毛象(Mammoth)” wayspot.

Therefore, it can be concluded that these three wayspots were exhibits from earlier years and have since been removed.

This Wayspot is just a stuffed animal; when I found it at the zoo’s educational center, it was just scattered on the floor. It was a temporary animal prop for the exhibition, not a Wayspot permanently placed in one location.

Hello, @EONloveu! Due to insufficient evidence, we’re unable to remove the Wayspot in question. If you have additional evidence to share, like geotagged images or photosphere, please submit a new appeal with additional information, and we’ll take another look.

To be honest, I’m a bit dissatisfied with this result.

I searched the two exhibition venues closest to these four wayspots over and over again,
and found absolutely nothing similar.

And judging from the pictures alone, it’s very difficult to discern any clues about an indoor wayspot that’s over a decade old.

Could the Niantic team please provide the original applicant’s attached photos (environmental images)?

I can find 100% certain evidence that “this thing doesn’t exist in this location right now.”
