Wayspot Removal Appeal - Three Objects can't be Found as Shown in the Wayspot Cover Photo

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: 天都禪寺
  • Location (lat/lon): 22.968671,120.19951
  • City: Tainan
  • Country: Taiwan
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
  • Additional Information (if any): 天都禪寺 literally means Tiandu Temple. The temple was purchased by a memorial service company and renamed to 國寶南都 in 2016 (國寶台南福座company announcement). The building is now a columbarium. I have attached a comparison between my updated photo and the Wayspot cover photo to show the differences in the building’s appearance. This site is located within a large cemetery area. :scream:

Wayspot cover photo:

  • Wayspot Title: 水萍塭公園

  • Location (lat/lon): 22.986368,120.194711

  • City: Tainan

  • Country: Taiwan

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any): The site has been under construction since October 2020 (Underground Parking Lot Groundbreaking ). The demolished entrance signboard used to serve as a Wayspot representing this famous park. The biggest issue with this Wayspot now is that there is no object to scan and the area is closed to pedestrians (Google Street View). There is another Wayspot (22.987939,120.192168) at a different entrance that can currently represent the park. I suggest retiring this Wayspot and nominating a new one after the construction is completed.

Thanks for the appeal, @shellgroup. After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
