This wayspot is currently located right ontop of an elderly home. The people working and living here have told the community that they’re not fond of people trespassing on their property to reach this wayspot. Next to their complaints there is no good spot to cross the road next to this wayspot. This leads to people crossing the road unsafely while walking to the next wayspot.
If this item is accurately placed there is no reason to have it removed by a fellow wayfarer. Items at hospitals (as long as they don’t obstruct emergency services) or in restricted areas like gated communities and even an Elderly care facility are eligible.
They residents, employees, and guests would have access to these locations. I would emphasize that no one should trespass on this or any other property for a game. This is expressed clearly by all Niantic games. So I understand the frustration of the staff if people are trespassing on the property. There is a link on the top of this Wayfarer website that can be shared with the owners or management of the facility that they can use to reach out to Niantic directly for spots on their property to be removed.
If the property owner/management would like to have the way spot removed, there is a form they can fill out. I don’t have the link right now, but I’m sure someone does.
