Wayspot to Power Spot?

Hello, is there any way to convert PokeStops into PowerSpots? The only Power Spots that exist are very remote and poorly located, and we have Waypots that are in the same cell. Is there no way to turn them into Power Spots?

So I’ve had bad luck because none of the ones we sent to see if any of them would become power spots have turned out to be successful

I dont know the sync time. i am guessing it wont sync as often as pokestop/portal

2 wayspots have been there for over 5 months We’ll keep waiting, hopefully at some point, it’s worth mentioning that the proposals are real and not like the others that are non-existent sites and that I’ve reported because there’s no way to access the site.
