I got this educational/artistic display in a public park approved. I was so stoked to get the sixth approval in a level-14 S2 cell where every PoI except one were within the park boundaries!
The Company gave the gym to the sole spot outside of the park, a place my dog refuses to go on walks…
An original work straddling art and science, this display teaches us to identify significant flora which sustain our indigenous pollinators. The name of each plant in front of the butterfly appears with a taxonomic sketch on the reverse. Learn to recognize various Asters, Coneflowers, Milkweeds etc., which can be found in the park and the wild.
This display in a public park connects visitors to the natural world around us. It encourages physical and imaginative exploration and features a QR code to learn more online.
I proudly present my recently accepted holiday/vacation nomination. Maybe someone want to guess where or what it is?
I’ll start with the supporting photo:
I recently took a vacation to Ireland/UK–my first time out of the country since I’ve started Wayfarer! Was very excited to see what I could submit. Maybe this is my most favorite nomination? Saw it from the bus as we were pulling into Belfast; backtracked later so I could take some proper photos.
I love submitting new photos so of course I was doing that too. Edinburgh was the tail end of the trip so I was no longer having to “conserve” my available photo edits and could go ham. “Fixing” a “headless” statue is something I like to do… this is one of my favorites.
Had to be patient for a good window to photo Mr. Adam Smith because the local birds loooove to perch on his head.
