What is your favourite WayPoint received as a Postcard?

OK - I was thinking. We enjoy sharing our favourite nominations. Great views - Great Meanings - An unexpected success - A nomination that took a lot of effort… And I thank @darkersolstice for getting me thinking more with their post Waypoints of pride

Well I enjoy seeing what others have done not just here but in game. So I thought I would share a few I started to keep. I have removed the who sent. As they may not want that shared.

I don’t include the best I have received as I only just started keeping some.

I also wonder at how to show the best here. As looking at the phone I was challenged…First is a nomination that photo was good with right amount of text. Next one is a photo. But no text. And last one is a classic PGO Gift View. I had to use this one as the main photo was vast and mobile screenshot was not the way to go…

First one is from a friend who is also a PGO friend who had been travelling..I happen to adore this shot from Hawaii. It reminds me of my own trips there. I love the sky, the trees and shadow sculpture play. So I liked the fact my friend was there, reminds me of my own trips and I just like the photo. It has meaning!

This shot is just from a player who I have shared gameplay with for years. Since I started. Never seen this person share anything outside of their home country. Then one day, bam get some postcards from NZ, clearly PGO friend is on a trip and this one of the Kiwi is brill - Made of driftwood. Reminds me of my own Kiwi travels and I never got to see a real Kiwi. So long time co player. Great reminder of wildlife and nature.

Again from my friend when she was travelling. This time in Galapagos. Why good. A -because of her travels and B - I ALWAYS wanted to go to the Galapagos Islands (Jealous oh yes) and C - it is a shark mural

SO what WayPoints have you received, gone way awesome or I want to go there or just triggered good memories etc

I am very fond of this postcard. I have been at this particular Pokestop, a glass lighting fixture at a convention hotel in my area, many many times. When I get this from one of my friends, I know someone’s at a con or con-related meeting. Anime Central in May, the comic convention in summertime, Midwest Furfest in December…

I like this idea.

Taking nice pictures is all part of creating a wayspot. And I really liked the idea of sending and saving the postcards which could explain why I have just spent ages looking at them :joy: Trying to decide on one or two was really hard.

I thought this was a really interesting mural and it inspired a visit to the town to have a wander around, the very definition of explore.

An open air theatre on the cliffs in Cornwall. A totally bonkers idea as weather batters this part of the coastline. But the Cornish coast is beautiful and I have spent many summers walking small sections of the coastal path submitting trail markers along the way.

And this just makes me laugh. Never been there and don’t plan to go, but it is a great way to see a wayspot.

Ooops I ended up with 3. I could have posted so many. And I have a huge number of inspirational murals.

These are 3 of my favourites to send.

And this is a particular favourite of mine to receive due to the absolutely stunning array of pictures added to it

I also adore a cat themed postcard, especially with a meowth sticker
