All but one of those waypoints would show up in Ingress as the proximity rules are different for that game. So it’s true they may not show up in PoGo but they will show up in other games.
A second infinity incubator in PoGo or a higher coin cap.

Of the 12 blue plaques only two show in Ingress. Sid James and Morecambe and Wise.
There is a distance of about 10ft between each one.
I agree there is no point to add those. My comment was more about the IITC image you posted which showed the waypoints in the various cells.
There was a point. I was bored and had 40 submissions 
yes but also PoGo inclusion rule seems to cause the most problems especially in semi-rural and rural areas. Awhile back there’s was an excellent photo example that show how areas with almost nothing end up with only 1 wayspot because the second wayspot was a little too close. 2 per cell could help these types of areas. Again as you said this is not Wayfarer decision, I know, PoGo team would’ve to request/review the idea.
Back to your main point, I hope the wayfarer app continues to be available as “read-only” or in some way to use for those interested in seeing all the wayspots, even ones not in games.

I have a housing estate nearby me with a park and nature reserve in the middle
3 waypoints and only the most boring is in PoGo because theyre all around the edges of 1 cell

I just read all these posts just now and I didn’t see it going too off topic like that. Being able to see or interact with waypoints in a game or games is a big motivating factor for a lot of people.
