I nominated a sign near my house and it got flagged as a ‘generic sign’ could I get banned for this??
It sounds like your submission was rejected, not that it was flagged or any mark was put on your account. Unless you got an email other than the one saying your submission was rejected, there isn’t anything to indicate you getting banned.
There was an email telling me that i have gotten flagged for low severity offense is this bannable and what does it mean?
That’s a very low level warning and doesn’t sound like it would cause a ban. Other transgressions might do. The warning email will say which wayspot submission was flagged.
If you want, you can post the text from the warning email and the details from the flagged submission to get advice.
One example of getting this warning might be for submitting something which is completely and utterly not eligible, meaning someone hasn’t taken account of the key wayfarer criteria (Exercise, Social, Exploration).

Posting the nomination and the email will help explain what is happening and hopefully help put this in perspective.
If you receive warning, you will receive something like this. You will got pop up warning EVERYTIME YOU LOGIN for 1 DAY.
If you didnt receive anything like this, its probably just educational email.
