Why is it that someone posts just a tree for a pokestop because they “dont have many” there and they are approved, but my pokestop submission thats actually a historical sight is not approved? This is totally bogus.
Hello and welcome @OnlyGunslinger
It is very frustrating when we get rejections.
I am going to move this to nomination support, so we can try to assist. We can’t see exactly what happened with yours but our experience will enable us to throw some light on any issues.n
In order to help you we will need to see the full nomination- that way we can see what the reviewers saw.
Does it say if it was rejected by the community or the auto process?
If you see something like this that has been approved, please report it for removal.
It was auto rejected. I’m angry because someone can post a bush, or a tree, some stupid nonsense with no information and it gets passed. Me I actually post a historical sight and I get a middle finger by your auto process.
This should not happen. If you see this, you should report this.
This can happen only if people abuse the system with a voting ring. A random bush or tree will not get accepted by normal reviewers. You might be seeing things that are leigitimate, but you don’t understand the criteria well enough to know why.
Your historical sight might be as eligible as you personally think it is.
It is absolutely possible that some ineligible stuff passes through the cracks and appears on the gameboard. You can report those and our team will review the report.
I reviewed the nomination and can say that the rejection was justified. Site signs do not meet any eligibility criteria.
Please have a look at these for understanding what makes a good wayspot.

If you would like to share screenshots with the rest of us who can’t see your nomination internally, we can help you work out if there is a different way to submit the historical site that would be acceptable.
Ok so if it had and I’ve seen quite a few times already, why won’t it pass a point on a historical sight founded in 1909??? It’s historical!
You will need to provide your main photo, title and text in order to get anyone here to advise you on this submission beyond what @NianticAaron has already said. Preferably also the supporting photo, supporting text and location (which you can find in the submission receipt email below the photos).
We can’t see your nomination since we are not staff. I can’t begin to guess why the sign was rejected. Reminder that being old does not mean something is historic. Will be happy to discuss if you show us what you nominated.
I cannot speak to why the other things were not rejected. I haven’t seen them either.
I’m not sure if the above is similar. A sign that points to somewhere eligible doesn’t always mean the sign is eligible on its own. It can act as the place marker should the nomination content does point towards the pointed object and is relatively near the object the sign signifies.
