I had nominated a historical spot since 2023 and appeal it several times. (“El sol de San Angel”)
I even asked in the Pokemon Go Tour 2026 in LA to the information desk if there was a reason why most of my uploads end up rejecting even when I place and specifying their historical or social importance are being rejected and then amazing lady there was surprised as well of the stop being rejected despite being a historical (1945) stone wall icon in the open street.

It helps us to help you if you provide the following:
- A screenshot of your nomination, including rejection reasons if it has already been rejected
- Include the title, description, both photos, and supplemental information
- Copy and paste the title, description and supplemental so others can translate them
- If you feel comfortable please share the location, as it is helpful (i.e. hidden duplicates), but you can mask it if you wish.

Hola, yo soy el muchacho que estaba alli cuando te estavan dando ayuda. EL equipo, me imagino esta bastante ocupados ahorita ya con lo del evento y viajes. Pero yo me voy ha asegurar que alguien te de una respuesta o sugerencia en cuanto puedan. Por mientras puedes compartir con la comunidad si gustas para ver si te pueden sujerir como mejorar o alterar tus nominaciones.

Nevertheless, the submission in question is not eligible for the below reasons:
- It has been submitted away from its correct location
- The correct location of the object is a private residential property which is an ineligible location

I’m glad to read you now have an official answer from the wayfarer team.
The community here is very helpful and supportive when things have not gone well. If you are happy to post in Nomination Support people will help so that you can hopefully get success.
You may find it helpful to read through some of the other posts first as you will quickly see your situation is not unusual and you will read about others that have a turn round in their fortune.

To be accepted as a wayspot, something needs to be eligible under Social, Exploration and/or Exercise and also not meet any of the rejection elements.
On single-family private residential property (SFPRP), on school grounds (nurseries, scouts etc) - fails
Mislocated - fails
Not accessible to anyone - fails
If you describe to someone the positive aspects of something and fail to mention the negatives, then it is natural that they won’t understand why it was not successful.
It is not the wayspot submission location that mustn’t be on SFPRP, but the object itself. Using a submission location on public ground doesn’t solve the problem of SFPRP.

Thank you for your answer, I appreciate you took your time to check it and answered back to let me know.
I am a bit confused by the resolution since it’s not the case of any of the points you mentioned. It’s near a doorway but not inside any property at all. And I swear I triple check the coordinates and the exact place it is before sending it.
If it’s still unqualified I would understand since it IS in a niche so that might be why it’s consider “inside”.

Estamos tratando de conseguir paradas en los pocos lugares históricos que conocemos, por desgracia si son bastante complicados.
Los otros, aparte de este en México, están en la ciudad donde vivimos “Cape Coral” en Florida USA es una ciudad en crecimiento y ni andén peatonal tiene aún. As que solo tememos bancas que están para ponerle placas de donadores por parte de la ciudad pero aún así no nos las aceptaron tampoco…
Y sin paradas no hay como hacer rutas o una comunidad.
