Me and others in my community have been submitting a lot of these trail marker stickers recently, and while reviewers’ reaction to them has been mixed to say the least, we’ve gotten a lot of them approved by Niantic on appeal (including one of these two). So why did these two just disappear? I’ve seen plenty of topics on here from other users submitting the same or very similar official trail marker stickers (like @AMG7070 ) so what’s going on here? Should we be concerned that more of our recent approved submissions are going to disappear?

Now onto the case. These 2 wayspot look good IMO. But before you send a appeal in the appeal’s section please check these things:
Are they still on the map, but ! Points? If this is the case a property owner might have wanted the wayspots gone, or the wayspots don’t meet inclusion rules anymore.
Was the location correct for the nominations?
If all of this is good, then make a appeal in Wayspot Appeals section about them. Include the information about them, the official hiking route link, geotagged photo’s of the location to prove they exist (at the location) and why they still meet criteria.

No, those wayspots are GONE gone. No exclamation marks anywhere on the submission map. And I don’t see what property owner would have the right to take them down, since the stickers are on street lights on the public sidewalk. And they were definitely in the right location.
I just hope this stops here, since there are a good dozen more of those trail marker Pokestops in the immediate area and I don’t want to see those removed either.
