Countless trail markers have once again been removed without any explanation

I just booted up Pokemon Go on my couch and I immediately saw that a massive chunk of Pokestops in my immediate area has been removed, all of them hiking trail marker stickers. I can’t believe we’re doing this again.

The two I mentioned in this topic were removed AGAIN, along with a good dozen or so others that I could see and lord knows how many others that I can’t see from my couch.

They are all trail marker stickers like this. Why is this happening AGAIN?

They are approved on appeal EVERY TIME, and even when they’re not, the appeal decision is STILL overturned when I make a topic about it here.

Bad appeal decision for one of my trail marker submissions

This is obviously not a “direction sign post”, it’s an official trail marker sticker along the trail that can easily be verified using the links I provided in the appeal information. I would like to see this mistake corrected.

How much more proof do I need to give that there is ZERO reason for these to be removed?

If this is Niantic’s doing, then what’s the reason behind this?

I’m in the same boat brother… Feels like I’m putting in work, getting a win and then having it taken without any explanation… It’s discouraging…

I Feel you on this one.

But there is nothing more we can do than reporting it to staff, so they hopefully reïnstate them.

Because of privacy reasons we can never know the explorer who is doing, but let,’s hope that this is the last time for you.
