Yet again, my eligible trail marker wayspot has been removed

  • Wayspot Title: Rondje Eindhoven & Fietsroute 01
  • Location (lat/long): 51.471809,5.451392
  • City: Eindhoven
  • Country: Netherlands

So here we are, yet again. Once again, someone has reported one of my completely eligible trail marker wayspots and Niantic has removed it.

The exact same kind of trail marker that has been restored by @NianticAaron MULTIPLE TIMES now, as can be seen in the following topics:

I really can’t fathom why these malicious removal requests keep getting approved. How many times do these trail markers have to be removed and restored before something changes? @NianticAaron, I take it this wayspot will be restored as all the others were? Can you at least give me a hint regarding who is behind this? And what measures will be taken to stop this from happening AGAIN? Whoever is abusing the wayspot reporting function like this really deserves to have their account punished IMO. At least take their wayspot reporting privileges away since they’re clearly abusing them.

I’m experiencing the same thing on the other side of the country. We have started resubmitting removed trail markers like this with close-up photos of the named route. We also stopped mentioning the cycling junction network in the title and description. So far none of the resubmitted trial markers have been removed again. It might be worthwhile to give that a try

I don’t know what’s going on, but the trail marker I mentioned in my first post seems to have returned, but with a name change.

But now another of these trail markers has been removed.

I’m pretty sure that this one was one of the ones that @NianticAaron has already restored in one of my previous topics.

@NianticAaron, what is going on with these, and when is it going to stop?

Thanks for the appeal, @GeneralSecura. After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to restore the Wayspot in question.

Which one? The one in my first post or the one I showed in post 3?

And can someone give me an explanation why these clearly eligible markers keep getting removed?

We’ve restored the Wayspot “Trailmarker Rondje Eindhoven” in question. You should see the changes reflected soon.

Okay, good.

I’d still like it more if whoever keeps sending removal requests for these trail markers would be told to go kick rocks instead of having their requests approved.
