So here we are, yet again. Once again, someone has reported one of my completely eligible trail marker wayspots and Niantic has removed it.
The exact same kind of trail marker that has been restored by @NianticAaron MULTIPLE TIMES now, as can be seen in the following topics:
I really can’t fathom why these malicious removal requests keep getting approved. How many times do these trail markers have to be removed and restored before something changes? @NianticAaron, I take it this wayspot will be restored as all the others were? Can you at least give me a hint regarding who is behind this? And what measures will be taken to stop this from happening AGAIN? Whoever is abusing the wayspot reporting function like this really deserves to have their account punished IMO. At least take their wayspot reporting privileges away since they’re clearly abusing them.
I’m experiencing the same thing on the other side of the country. We have started resubmitting removed trail markers like this with close-up photos of the named route. We also stopped mentioning the cycling junction network in the title and description. So far none of the resubmitted trial markers have been removed again. It might be worthwhile to give that a try
I’d still like it more if whoever keeps sending removal requests for these trail markers would be told to go kick rocks instead of having their requests approved.
