Hello and welcome,

When was this Wayspot approved? Right now, the maps we have to review Wayspots aren’t up-to-date, so it’s still showing as being on the database map and in Ingress. It’s also the only Wayspot in this L17 S2 cell, so it should be in PoGo, but can take up to 48 hours after approval to show up in PoGo; with Ingress the syncs are manual and there’s no definite timeframe.

Hello, was approved on Tue, Apr 29 on the Ingress map it still appears but it was removed from PoGo

I can still see this Wayspot on the Intel map and the database map, although those are synced manually currently, so they may not be up-to-date. The PoGo map is synced on a regular basis still, so it could have been removed from PoGo first and syncs to the other maps are waiting to happen.

Hard to say if this is a bug or it was actually removed, but hopefully staff will be able to provide more info.

I believe it was removed erroneously due to a complaint, you could request it again in an eternal cycle

At this point, we don’t know why it was removed from PoGo, so we just have to wait to hear back from staff.

Thanks for the appeal, @carvalhojr We have taken another look but stand by our decision to retire the Wayspot in question.

but what was the reason? you didn’t answer the question

It also needs to be discussed regards a “Commissioned Mural” and non commissioned “Grafitti”. (I am avoiding using the term “vandalism” as it seems to trigger some people).

A “Commissioned Mural” is eligible but it is down to the submitter to show evidence that it is authorised therefore unlikely to be removed anytime soon.

“Grafitti” is not usually eligible mainly as there is a good chance that either the authorities or the property owner could paint it over.

Look at the size of this drawing, do you want more evidence that it was authorized?

The size has nothing to do with whether it is authorised…

Don’t shoot the messenger…

As per the criteria, if this is an “Authorised Mural” then it is down to the submitter to show evidence.

Otherwise, reviewers can only assume that it is “Grafitti” which is often classed as “Vandalism” and is therefore not eligable.

Hi, please be respectful to fellow community members who are communicating criteria to you. If you disagree with a review decision it’s absolutely not a reason to take it out on someone trying to clarify why it may have happened and how to improve.

Other than what above said, whats behind it? If its single family private residential place, its ineligible.
