Wife's account Reset?

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask these questions but it is related to Pokemon Go.

My wife used her school email for her account. Randomly a couple months ago she was logged out (as Niantic does frequently with mine too) and she logged back in and her account is at level 1 and her name is different. We tried to send the recovery verification code, but no email from Niantic is getting sent to her. We were trying to update this and use her new email, not a school email any longer.

I was wondering if anyone else had these issues. She is level 42 and has quite a lot of special Pokemon she doesn’t want to lose. Sucks there is only the chat feature on the site and not a phone number to actually talk to someone.

If it is, then I have been able to reach a real person in the past at Niantic Support on Twitter. I haven’t used it since Twitter became X.

This isn’t a Wayfarer issue, since it has to do with PoGo. You will need to contact the PoGo support team, as staff here don’t work on that team, via in-app chat.

Yeah I have tried that to no avail.

this is not the account then. you will need to try that chat box on that page i linked, not the in game chat for that new account. or try reaching out to NianticSupport@NianticHelp on X

No, I am on the PokemonGo Help center site talking with an agent. The crappy part is the min my computer goes to sleep the chat ends.

I have tried a couple times prior via that link before and it hasn’t been positive.

I would try The Silph road on Reddit, they might be able to help.
