It is not a duplicate Wayspot. The Wayspots are for different things.

Alternative perspective: There is no Wayfarer issue here. After all, this is a Wayfarer forum, and not a PGO forum.

First of all, i just want to ask if there is any solution behind this since the rules of poi follow one wayspot one cell right? I just want to know the reason since i first time encounter this

Quite sure both of them are not sponsored gym since there are no sponsor phrase at the gym or maybe is my s2cell got any mistake? Just asking

Understood , because i didnt see before 2 wayspot in one cell previously, so thats why i asking here to understand better future for the nomination and what i discover not one but several of them and i try to wait the game to sync thought it will become normal but still exist till now

There is no limit on the number of ‘Wayspots’ in a L17 cell. Wayspots is different to Pokestops/Gyms.

Pokemon Go game client is then able to choose which Wayspots they want to include in their game as Pokestops/Gyms. That is not a Wayfarer matter though, that is a Pokemon Go matter.

Yeah this i understand there is no limit for wayspot under one cell , hmm so is under pogo sycning matter problem d right? Due to my understanding is one pokestop one cell correct?

The wide-spread concencus is 1 stop/gym per L17 cell.

This has not, nor will ever be, confirmed by Niantic. So they’re free to ignore it whenever they see fit, for whatever reason they come up with.

I would suggest chalking this up to “that’s weird” and moving on.

fwiw, i have seen this reported before as happening when a gym is moved. i never count on it to happen, though. @Glawhantojar already said the rest of what i was going to say =)

if there is a reason one of the gyms needs to be removed besides just curiosity as to why it didn’t go away, you can pursue the matter in a different way. that is why i asked the question i did earlier.

Well coz i first time using location edit , thought it can auto sync then the gym can move to the meetup places for community who knows this issue arise and there are more places similar to this matter, so just rise up this post for asking

Yeah, if it’s not hurting anything I’d leave it alone.

Sure i guess i try location edit again to move bit to try trigger the game see how since aaron have say no issue for this, i just try whatever i can rest pass to system lmao

Moving a Wayspot for game manipulation is abuse. Don’t do location edits except for real world corrections.
