So i just saw there was this event, i tryed to do some reviewing after a long time, cause last time i got discouraged by constant declines and low pontuation due to the fact i feel confused in what options i shall pick in some stops, and i had this name change and description change, i picked the ones i felt were correct, and got 24 ban instant…
Welcome back to the forum! This seems to be a cold re-entry though.
I’m confused when you say ban. Are you sure this is a ban that prevents you from accessing the whole website and prevents you from playing the other apps? Or is it a review cooldown which makes you pause reviewing for a set amount of hours?

We would need specific examples of the reviewed nominations (and your proposed decision) to establish if this is a cooldown working as intended or a bug.
For instance, non-malicious grammatical errors in text that can be easily deciphered are viewed as good enough to “IDK” for most. The ones that may be fixed with minimal text edits. Like this one:

I had a review, i pick the correct title, and the correct description. I submitted, i got cooldown. Can´t be more specific than this!

It can actually be. The specific choices, location, and images would help. Just like for what most people do in Nomination Support but for the reviews.
That said, the challenge is ongoing. Bugs can be anywhere.

Cmon man, it had just 2 options, the name and the description i picked, it had no more things, it was some wheel, the name was changing from wheel to old wheel , the descripiton was changing from wheel to old wheel also, i picked the old wheel. It is in Portugal, i dont know i didnt recorded it in my head cause i didnt knew i would be banned after submiting…

I am also experiencing this issue. I went to review and marked the first wayspot as a duplicate (since it was a duplicate of a nearby wayspot) and immediately received a 24 hour cooldown. This is extremely discouraging as a reviewer especially since I didn’t do anything wrong and received this cooldown out of nowhere.

Not sure if this is a bug or intended, but I joined the Wayfarer community earlier today to suggest a new Poké Stop. Just now, a couple of hours later, I decided I’d try my hand at reviewing to see what the process was like.
The first review I was presented with was for a pair of memorial gates, as the submitter put it, but I couldn’t find anything about them on Google and didn’t feel qualified to do anything, so decided to hit the Skip button hoping for something a little less vague.
Upon doing so I was immediately met with this screen:

I’m not particularly put out by this and will probably take another look in a few days, but figured I’d report it here as it felt a bit of a heavy-handed response by the system to what was ultimately very little interaction.

There is clearly something broken with this system right now. I got no submissions for a while with “Wayfarer’s response didn’t include a candidate.” so I kept refreshing, then I got to just TWO reviews that I normally reviewed before being hit with a 24h cooldown ban. Please lift these! During a timed challenge it’s very unfair. I never had a cooldown in over 3 years, and my wayfarer rating is best, so there’s no way it has to do with reviewing wrongfully, and seeing how many others are having the same issue right now it just has to be an error!

I have moved this topic to Bug Reports & Technical Support so the team can investigate. Please do continue to keep us updated regarding the cooldowns.
Over 11,000 reviews on my counter, great rating, 176 reviews into the challenge and now have a 24 hour ban. The lag was bad enough, but now…
