A park became a construction site and removal keeps getting rejected

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Hier leben Wildbienen

  • Location (lat/lon): 52°29’43.5"N 13°24’15.7"E

  • City: Berlin

  • Country: Germany

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any): The park is now a construction site, fences all around. I submitted an updated photo to the pokestop, with construction site and machinery visible.

Hello and welcome @Rn5ho
Trying to update the photo on the pokestop in order to get it removed is not the correct way to go about this.
You have done the correct thing by making a report and following up here.
For your appeal here you should post photos so that the Wayfarer Team can review the evidence. If there is a link that explains that it is under construction that will be useful.

I understand - there wasn’t any option that I could see, that would allow me to add photos along with report that I made inside the app, so I did the next thing that came to my mind.. but I understand now that this wasn’t the best move.

Will head out and provide photos later today.

Using a camera app that adds the GPS data to the image may be useful.

but this GPS data app is not necessary if you don’t have one. just take photos that make clear this is the same place as in the wayspot photo. and try to find an article you can link about the construction, as was suggested.

(oops that went as a reply instead of a quote)

Thanks for the appeal, @Rn5ho. Due to insufficient evidence, we’re unable to remove the Wayspot in question. If you have additional evidence to share like geotagged images or photospheres, please submit a new appeal with additional information and we’ll take another look.

What will it be when the construction is finished? Is it a temporary situation?

I guess that depends on what is happening at this location.
If the whole park is demolished and a new different development is in place then people will be free to submit new wayspots.
If some elements of the park remain just as they were then with up to date evidence they can be reinstated, other new elements can be submitted.
