About how long does it take for a submission on wayfarer to be approved?

I submitted a poke stop about 4 or 5 days ago but it is still in que

I have one each from May, August, and September. I have several from the end of October, and multiple dozens from November.

Five days isn’t bad.

My understanding is (and it may be wrong) that contributions move from the queue to voting once there is an open spot for voting that covers that area. This helps make sure that duplicates (like an update to an existing spot, or a new spot being nominated) don’t approved at the same time.

So, depending on that number of folks in an area voting, it may take a while for those things to process before the next item in the queue is pulled in for voting.

Ok thanks!

Keep in mind we submit waypoints, not pokestops. Not all waypoints become pokestops or gyms.

It depends on the backlog of games
Also this is not just for Pokemon Go

And not all Waypoints will appear in Ingress for factions to run wild and cause maximum havoc.

We are at the tail end of of a Wayfarer challenge. I am guessing that there will be way over 1 million edits submitted, so what would usually take a day or two, can now take several months, if not years, to approve.

I just had 35 “decided” emails this morning.

Now, quite a few predated the challenge. But, it was one of the larger batches I’d seen.
