Wouldn’t it be good to be able to add additional information when reporting an abuse?
In this case below is someone trying to add a info sign about Dr. Hannerz Park which real location is in Laxå and not 500km! away in Sundsvall as this nominator has tried.
If we could add additional information for us who knows the areas in somehow could really help the reviewer of the abuse report.
Hi! If you have details to add when reporting something, I suggest noting the title/location of the wayspot and using the “Report abuse” form linked at the top of this forum. Reporting Abuse in Wayfarer — Wayfarer Help Center You can add text to explain the context of your report, and subsequently you will receive an email and a ticket number. If files are necessary for proof of your report, you can reply to the email and attach them.
Hope this helps you do what you are describing above!
This is how we could do it nowadays and which absolutely is an option.
But I really do think it would make sense to be able to add information when reporting an abuse whilst you are reviewing.
Now I need to take screenshots, gather the proofs and describe the abuse here, instead of simplify the process whilst reviewing and utilizing the already built in abuse-button.
Of course I do still need to gather the proof to enhance the abuse report, but I do not need to jump around.
That was my origin point even though I might not wasn’t clear enough.
And if there is a need to understand the abuse and the only way to help the abuse report reviewer is here, well then abuses slips away since every wayfarer reviewer ain’t even here at this community.
Hi, I don’t think screenshots are needed as long as you have kept the title and location of the wayspot.
And it’s hard to guess who knows what about Wayfarer so forgive me for letting you know about something you already knew - hopefully it helped someone else reading along
The abuse form is not only available to members of this community, it’s mentioned on the Wayfarer website and on the Help Center. It’s just that a link to it has been pinned to the top of this forum because the question comes up often. I agree that submitters and reviewers could do with more information, that said.
