Sorry to ask an unrelated matter in this thread, but I have an old issue here that I previously exchanged DM’s with staff on. It’s admittedly been a few months, but I went to check those DM’s for clarification on the matter, and they’re gone. I didn’t delete them, so I’m not sure where they went? Is there a way for me to access older DM’s here, or can a staff member reach out to me assist? Thanks!

Have you checked for an option for “All messages” or “Everything” to toggle? I’ve noticed my inbox usually defaults to “Unread” or “New” - maybe it’s just being filtered out?
Give that a look and poke around. If nobody else has suggestions, we can tag staff to see if they can reproduce the message(s) for you.

I too would like my old deleted DMs to be reinstated.
DMs are never deleted. If you can’t access them, they have probably been closed.
I didn’t realize DM’s were limited like that, but that’s likely due to years of experience on the internet. I’m so used to just being able to re-read old DM’s whenever I need them, whether they’re days, weeks, months or years old.
The need to read older messages doesn’t come up often, but I believe these older DM’s had the answer to my question regarding a maybe/maybe not glitch I experienced in game related to Wayfarer. Edit: I’m told these old DM’s didn’t have an explanation for the issue I’m experiencing submitting a specific location. It seems to be isolated to that location, as I’ve been able to submit locations in other towns and elsewhere in the same town.

You could try to click on your avatar icon here at the top right, than in the notification list on the left click at the arrow at the buttom:
And scroll your way down.
There should be every notification you ever received.
The problem is that users don’t have a folder for messages. My advice for future DMs is to bookmark them.

I can’t find any old DM’s to reread either. Now I screenshot and save anything I might need to reference again. But didn’t know I wouldn’t be able to access them later, so just started doing that.
Gave that a check on mobile. I don’t see them in older notifications, but I’ve been told the old DM’s didn’t have an explanation for the potential technical issue I was facing back then.

No, I was just told they didn’t have an explanation in the older DM’s. I can’t find or open them. In my situation, knowing that information isn’t there solves that particular issue.
My issue is them deleting messages without warning. It is a concerning policy to say the least. Especially when we never knew when an issue was “closed”
If I understand it correctly- and I might not be- the old DM’s aren’t deleted but once closed, regular users lose access to them. It sounds like admin can go back and access the messages.
It’s an atypical system, and one I don’t think I’ve seen elsewhere. I just assumed I could revisit the old DM for clarification on the old question, and I could not. In my case, it was minor, but it may not be for others.
