Welcome to the forums. Below is the streetview from the road alongside, looking towards this specific location. Can you please show how this matches with your images?

Hello, it is behind the tree i circled in red, it is not visible on street view but have circled the 3 landmarks in the photos provided, thank you

The evidence suggests that this is the wrong location and is in a currently empty cell, while the real location (1.334414, 103.853231) is an occupied cell with two wayspots. If I am correct, this is clear location abuse.

The red marker above is where you submitted this POI, while the red marker below is where it appears to exist:

Sorry i’m new so not sure what youre referring to about cells. I will try my best to be accurate but being a few metres off and being accused of abuse is wild to me

The cells as shown in the pictures above are what determine whether a wayspot will appear as a pokestop or gym. Each cell can only have one pokestop/gym.

The cell in which this POI actually exists is already occupied by two wayspots.
The cell in which you submitted this POI does not have any existing wayspots.

This means that, had it been accepted, you would have got a pokestop/gym appearing that wasn’t legitimate. Wayspots have to be located at the location of the POI. When they are not, it can look like abuse. When they are mislocated and this results in them being in an empty cell, this absolutely looks like abuse.

If this was accidental, please note that you need to take more care, especially in urban environments, to located wayspots correctly. You were around 40m away from the real location, which is quite a large error. [corrected from 20m to 40m because I misread the google maps ruler]

Hello and Welcome,

44m is not a few.

The fact that the correct location would not be used as a Stop or Gym but the incorrect location you used would then this definitely points towards location abuse.

This sort or “error / abuse” can lead to warnings / suspensions that will affect all games as well as wayfarer. It is not worth it for 1 extra stop.

Good luck for future nominations.

Hi @Jason112288
Welcome to the forum :hugs:
I’ve moved your thread to Nomination Support because the category Wayspot Appeals is for appealing rejected removal requests or to ask for reinstating removed wayspots.
Please do ask if you have any further questions. The community here is more than happy to help.

For future nominations you might want to read the following…

https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/t/why-an-accepted-wayspot-may-not-be-used-in-pokemon-go-s2-cells-and-pokemon-go

Knowing about the Cells can confirm whether an accepted nomination would become a “Stop / Gym” or maybe a “Powerspot”.

It can also let you know whether a new stop will create a new Gym.

What it isn’t for is to mis-locate the nomination.

Most nominations have a single location and must be positioned there.

Some may have multiple correct locations for example a common recommendation for a football field is to place behind the goal so you have the choice of 2.

You are able to adjust the location on the submission map. You could also check again in the “Contributions” screen and “withdraw” it if required.
