AI Rejected Nomination Post Office

That rejection reason don’t make sense to me since it comes out of an abuse flagging, while your nomination is clearly where you say it is.
I personally wouldn’t resubmit until someone from Niantic/Scopely would assure that the given reason is wrong.
I’ll tag @NianticAaron who hopefully will give feedback :folded_hands: but probablly not before next week

I never said you had to; someone else suggested it.

You have to place the pin on the nomination map correctly, and you don’t need to be right at the POI to do so, just within a few meters. I have submitted many POIs after taking the photos being a few meters away, and I try to be as accurate as possible.

I just checked, one problem might be, the link for the post office OP provided in their appeal is not working. It redirects to the office location search instead

Well, that really isn’t a good excuse for why the appeals team rejected. There’s other means to verify the location.

For me, the link worked. I’ve attached it again. The link was also included in the additional information.

For me, it was the best proof that it is something official — something that is accepted and tolerated by Deutsche Post, along with the full range of services that this branch offers.

We seem to be going round in circles so I will make these comments as my last post.

You have made it clear here that this is a Post Office so the options are

  • Wait for a possible reply from Staff which may give you more details.

  • If you have not done so, try an appeal.

  • Consider re-submitting but think whether you may have more luck getting past ML changing the images / text.

  • Take advice from local nominators / reviewers as these will be the people voting if it gets past ML. I can only state that Post Offices are an easy Accept in the UK, this may not be the case in Germany.

  • Remember, relax, keep calm. It is only a game.

Good luck.

Hi everyone,

after my initial request and appeal were both rejected, the forum’s collective effort and support helped turn things around — my proposal has now been accepted retroactively. I’d like to sincerely thank all of you who contributed, offered advice, and supported me throughout the process. I’ve learned a great deal from this experience.
