I just got human-only bridge rejected. Haven’t even gone to voting.
Can I know why? Seen much bridges in voting thought they were acceptable.
There are people in that picture, plus unless it’s something like the golden gate bridge, I don’t think they meet the eligibility criteria
Bridges can be eligible.
Did you explain about how it meets criteria in your supporting information?
What criteria do they meet though?
And also about emails when the nomination is rejected. They are pretty useless and give zero information about what wen’t wrong. Previously before the system update you knew at least the reason. Now the reply email feels like “We have no idea what was wrong just go away”…
Consider upgrading the email system, and explaining the reason to wayfarers. You had it ok, you can roll back
But if it gets accepted quickly and you don’t know what you did wrong, you can check your email and it would say it was rejected by “our team”, which means it was most likely rejected by ML.
You can now see the reason for rejection on Wayfarer.
I’m sure doing things this way round saved money and time that can be put towards other things.
I should explain it when there are 3 or more categories for bridges??? Isn’t it explained in the existing categories itself?! wth
If a nomination has multiple of the categories, it doesn’t mean it’s eligible. Many categories aren’t eligible.
The categories do not equal eligibility.
These also have things on like “rock”, “nüde beach” and “primary school”. So yes, you still need to let the reviewer know how you believe it meets eligibility
Categories don’t equate to eligibility. Ingress does not even have submitters include categories.
there is no reason
Did the email you received with the rejection say “our team”? As this would mean it’s been rejected by the ML, and not a person.
well why they exist then? why there is no category for a strip club or something that wasn’t eligible before?
I don’t know, but the point is, just because something has a category, doesn’t mean it’s eligible. There is a category for a tree, too.
They exist so that items accepted into the Lightship database have tags so that they can sell locations to other developers.
yes, with a long list of possible reasons but too lazy to specify
Well, i did explain what is that bridge about. It connects 2 districts and goes literally from one park to another park. idk much friendlier reason than this, except of historical
You can see the reason on the Wayfarer site though
