Another question about Pokestops accepted but not showing up in Pokemon Go

I am so frustrated. What can I do about this?
I am new and have read a lot of posts on here about waypoints/pokestops getting accepted but never showing up in Pokémon Go. I have experienced this multiple times and have learned from this wayfarer community about the S2 level 17 cells and how Pokemon Go allows only 1 pokestop in each level 17 cell. So I found a S2 cell map and placed the grid for level 17 cells over our community park and found all of the spots that were in the clear to submit new pokestops THAT SHOULD SHOW UP. They got accepted, BUT STILL WONT SHOW UP in Pokemon Go!
They show up as “wayspots used in other niantic games”. There is NO OTHER pokestop in those cells, why won’t these show up in pokemon go? What am I doing wrong? I am referring to the 2 wayspots that have the red arrow pointing at them in the picture below. This is the Westlake adventure park located in Westlake, Florida.

You are better using IITC and the ingress Intel as it is the most accurate. There will be some stops that are not in ingress but are in PokemonGo.

If you can share the location we can look for you. But understand if you would rather not.

How long has it been since you received the email notifying that those nominations were approved?

All wayspots will show up like that on the PoGo nomination map for a little while after approval since it is now in the Lightship database. The icon will later change after sync (up to 48hrs) if it meets the inclusion rules for PoGo.

In addition to the cell rules, there is a daily sync when eligible Wayspots are added to Pokemon Go. As explained above, the accepted Wayspot shows immediately as a ! until sync. Since you are in Florida, we are in the same time zone. A nomination accepted by noon will appear the same day. But more than a couple of minutes after that, has to wait until the next day. Sync rolls out instead of happening all at once, but I can generally start looking for a new Pokestop or gym to show up between 2:30-3:00pm. Comparing your screenshot to iitc, the two you pointed to should be eligible.

(Note that sync is often delayed, especially if there is a big event, so don’t panic if it doesn’t go live on the schedule I gave.)

Did you nominate these through Pokemon GO?

Doh! I don’t even think about the app we have been told so many times not to use! Yeah nominations made through that will go live in the database, but not in game. And once accepted, any nomination made correctly through the games will be marked as a duplicate. I hope it is just the sync thing.

Oh wow. Ok I’m going to check later again!!

Wait I just reread this. I don’t understand. Do you mean that I should NOT submit the pokestop through the actual pokemon go game? Is there another way to submit them? So they won’t show up?

Yes on the game. I wasn’t aware that there was any other way to submit them.

The game is the only correct way to submit them. There is/was technically another way that results in them not being added to any game. That’s why i asked. Some people think they’re clever for using an alternate method and then find out they’ve ruined any chance of their submission being available to them.

No, see @seaprincesshnb answer, and forget we ever said anything. Glad it was the sync issue!

Oh and another thing that has to sync in: if they are eligible for the elite gym tag, it gets added on the 25th of the month or so.
