Hi my Pokestop is accepted but not showing. I also received mail from wayfarer and it has been over 4-5 days since my Pokestop accepted . Please fix this bug

While Pokémon GO tells you you are nominating a Pokéstop, that is not actually exactly the case and not all of your nominations will make it into Pokémon GO because of its inclusion rules. Please read this post to understand what likely happened:

My approved poke stop has not appeared

The prompt in the nomination process indicates that you are submitting a Pokestop, but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to Niantic’s Lightship database. Pokemon Go uses Wayspots that are alone in an L17 S2 cell. A good article about how that works is this one: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/ If you want to leave the name of the Wayspot and the gps coordinates, we can check and let you know if that is what has happened with your Wayspot.

It’s in the same Level 17 S2 Cell as “Elephants Slid In Park”. Pokémon Go only allows for one Pokéstop or one Gym per Level 17 S2 Cell. You can read more about this rule in the article that’s linked to in the post that @Xenopus shared above.

Where I can see all pokestop in level 17 s2 cell in pogomap.info there are not showing any pokestop and gym so how can I make new pokestop. please tell me the site where I can see all gyms and Pokestop in s2 17 cell

i use iitc with a pogos2 overlay to see the cells with all portals, but this one doesn’t show there either because of the ingress 20m rule

whenever i say anything about the L17 cell rule, i emphasize that you should look for things to submit that actually exist in the empty cells if you are trying to make pokestops. don’t just pin them in an available empty cell. that is abuse.

remember these are portals, not all wayspots. if you are at the location when you start to make a nomination, you can turn on the toggle in the pogo map screen and it will show you all wayspots that do not show in pokemon go

Just a note since the location appears to be in India - the map Cyndie shows you above is correct but only from the point of view of Ingress, as she says. Your area likely has many more imported wayspots, most of them pictureless, that will not feature on this map. There is no map that would incorporate both cell lines and imported wayspots. I would therefore also recommend checking on-site to see what actually appears in Pokémon GO. As said above the Pokémon GO nomination interface can also show you non-Pokémon GO wayspots in the form of red pins shaped like an exclamation mark to avoid nominating duplicates.

Also a note that while it’s perfectly fine to be aware of cell lines to choose what you will nominate first, pins have to be on the object.

Yes it is in india. You have to add features in Pokemon go in Pokestop contribution in which while submitting pokestop you can see cells there in map and you also get notified that this cell has already a gym so that I will now submit that pokestop I cause so problem to see cell and Pokestop in another app and then go to Pokemon go and upload pokestop. Please look this essue and can you allow 2-3 pokestop in S-17 cells because there are so many things which can pokestop in india and places are very congested only parks are places you can make a pokestop so please allow more pokestop in s-17 cells . Thank you

Displaying s2 cells isn’t something that will be added to the in game nomination process as you are actually nominating potential wayspots for the Lightship database, not pokestops for PoGo.

The Lightship database is used by every Niantic game and as such does not care about s2 cells or minimum distance between wayspots.

Hi, thanks for your suggestions, but while I don’t work for Niantic, to avoid any disappointment I can already predict that these suggestions are unlikely to be implemented and give some context to that. Advice about S2 cells is informal and based on community observations and is very likely to stay so forever. This is also absolutely not something you need in the nomination screen since knowledge about cells should not influence how you place your pin, pins should be on objects and misplacing them to anywhere else can lead to action being taken on your account. The density rules for wayspots in Pokémon GO are something the Pokémon GO team decided, while Wayfarer is a database for many different games, not only Pokémon GO. Players that strongly like only one specific game have to accept that not every nomination makes it to their game of choice.

These are also requests that are better addressed to the Pokémon GO team, not the Wayfarer team, since they pertain to design choices that team made for their game.

As said above, multiple additional wayspots have been added to India without any strings attached regarding criteria or quality - this was a step taken to support that community.

Can you tell me how much time it takes for voting and Queue process tommorow I nominate a green Gazebo and it was accepted but not showing because of S17 cell have already pokestop but I have submitted more pokestop in other areas where there are no pokestop nearby but some are in Queue and voting process can you tell me how much time it takes.

It will take as long as it takes based on how many people review in your area.

But I’d like to give you some advice about your titles. Your titles are too simple. Instead of naming something “Gazebo,” you should tell something about where it is located so people know which gazebo to go to.

Cooper Park Gazebo
Jones Pond Gazebo
Gazebo on High Street

Those are all better names. Take that into consideration for all of your nominations, not just the gazebo.
