I submitted 2 entrances to a large nature and recreation area at the weekend, called Bugs Bottom.
Only 2 of the entrances have signs, and there are 4 other prominent entrances that do not - I chose the best 2 of these to submit as I believed I could make a good case for them.
Rhigos was put into Niantic review and was accepted. I was very pleased, as I was expecting the lack of sign could be an issue, despite the criteria clarifications on this topic saying a sign isnt necessary.
The other entrance was rejected by the ML, so I appealed it yesterday, citing that Rhigos was approved and I felt they were similarly distinctive with the prominent path, the gap in the fence, and the easily visible huge green space visible on the map right by the residential street it’s pinned to.
The appeal was rejected stating that I should instead submit the sign- but the review team had accepted a signless entrance similar to this, and I also recently had a signless entrance to a different park accepted on appeal. This decision seems inconsistent and I’d love it if you could take a 2nd look
